The Thinksport mat is made from TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer). The advantage to TPE is that it is a closed-cell construction material. What that means is that if you sweat or get water on the mat, it will wipe clean. It reduces the chance of bacteria growing in the mat material. There are derivatives of PVC being categorized as environmentally friendly or eco materials, this is false. When selecting your mat, cheap is not necessarily better for you and the environment. We have also investigated high-end rubber solutions. We are not in favor of rubber because of the vulcanization process, which includes the use of formaldehyde.
How do I care for my Thinksport mat? Before first use, wipe with a damp cloth to obtain optimal traction. As necessary clean with a wet cloth. Mats are biodegradable to lessen their environmental impact. For maximum product life, keep out of direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
Why a yoga mat? We introduced the Thinksport mat because a majority of the mats available today are made of harmful materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polymer "environmental" resin (PER). So, we first and foremost set out to find a safe material that adhered to our strict chemical policy. However, we didn't stop with just a safe material. We went on to develop our mat to be the highest performing and most comfortable mat possible. How is the Thinksport mat different? Once we identified the ideal, safe material, we started asking yoga enthusiasts (ourselves included!) what they would change about their existing mats. The #1 complaint that people had was that their existing mats were too thin and uncomfortable. So, we designed our mats to be thicker than existing mats. We were careful not to make our mat too thick so that it became difficult for balancing poses. Due to the advanced material, our thicker mat remains remarkably light. Also, our mats do not have a strong _new matî odor. While doing market research prior to the launch of our mat, we were constantly amused when people would hold the mat close to their nose, take a deep whiff, and exclaim "wow, your mat is not stinky!".
Since our company's inception, we have been focused on being socially responsible. For us this means three things:

Since 2007, we have provided products for various fundraisers for diabetes, child abuse, autism, and cancer organizations, and have provided direct aid to catastrophes such as the Texas fires and Haiti. In addition, we have been proud donors to Texas4000, Healthy Child Healthy World, Environmental Working Group, and St. Jude.
Our program evolved, and through a little bit of "thinking," Thinksocial was created. We came up with Thinksocial as a way to empower consumers to choose which non-profits they feel most connected to and want to monetarily support. We call it the democratization of social responsibility.
Returns We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you wish to return a purchase made on GOthinkbaby.com, please contact us at info@GOthinkbaby.com. To qualify for a refund, products must be new and unused. Products must be returned within 30 days of delivery date and proof of purchase or receipt is required (Only purchases made on GOthinkbaby.com may be returned. If purchased somewhere else, please contact the original retailer for their return policy). Once the return is received, a refund will be issued, minus shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee. For instructions on returning your purchase and obtaining a Return Authorization number, please email info@GOthinkbaby.com. Returns that do not accompany a Return Authorization number will not be processed. However, please note that all sales of thinkbaby and thinksport sunscreen and body care (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, bubble bath) are final.
Warranty We will gladly replace parts or products that are defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship. Please email info@GOthinkbaby.com for instructions and to obtain a Replacement Authorization number. Replacement requests must be made within 14 days of delivery date and a receipt or proof of purchase is required to process the request. We cannot accept returns or requests for replacement part(s) without a Replacement Authorization number. Fulfillment mistakes that result in the shipment of incorrect product will gladly be corrected. Please email info@GOthinkbaby.com within 14 days of receiving product. We will provide return instructions with the Replacement Authorization number. Returns that are not sent to the address provided will not be processed. We cannot accept C.O.D.'s. The customer is responsible for shipping returns and we recommend that packages are insured, as we cannot process returns that are lost, stolen, or damaged during shipping. The returned merchandise will be assessed and if it is determined that there is a manufacturer’s defect, a replacement will be issued. If the returned item(s) do not contain a manufacturer’s flaw, a replacement will not be issued. Refunds/credits are not issued under any circumstance as containers designed for human consumption are non-returnable for hygienic reasons. Defective item(s) will be replaced and if the original part is not available or out of stock, the part(s) will be sent as soon as it/they become available or similar part(s) will be sent in substitution.
